The Skagit Valley Family YMCA, in partnership with Help Me Grow Skagit, is excited to announce its annual Healthy Kids Day event on Saturday, April 26 at the YMCA’s Hoag Road facility (1901 Hoag Road, Mount Vernon, WA 98273). The free event will take place from 12:30-2:30pm.

This year’s event is sponsored by PFLAG Skagit, the Kiwanis Club of Burlington-Edison, and Martha’s Bridal.

On Healthy Kids Day, children and families have the opportunity to learn about the importance of healthy eating; nutrition and physical activity; mental and emotional well-being; and developing healthy habits. It also serves as a great place to get kids and families excited about summer programs in the greater Skagit/Whatcom area!

Join us for fun events, games, educational activities, and healthy snacks. Plus, we’ll have lots of free giveaways, including life jackets, backpacks, tie-dye t-shirts, and more!
