Capture the magic of Christmas with Santa Photos at Skagit Acres! Bring your kids, dogs, or the whole family to meet Santa. Your ticket will include up to 4 images, delivered via email or text.

Hot chocolate, local perormances, and special guest appearances. Santa will be available after event for pictures. Tree Lighting is around 6:45 PM. FREE

Get your photo with Santa at this year's Winter Wonderland. Santa and his friends will be there all 3 days! Don't forget, bring your own camera to capture the special moment! FREE

Make holiday shopping fun with Santa at the Just Between Friends Holiday Sale at Skagit County Fairgrounds. Bring your own camera. FREE

You are invited to commemorate your holiday season with a mini photoshoot in a festive outdoor setting. You are welcome to bring your pets (big or small) to be in the photos. There will also be the option of having your photos with one of our horses! Mr & Mrs Claus have confirmed that they are available that day if you would like them to be part of your holiday photos.

Holiday Parades & Tree Lightings
Thursday, December 4 | 5:30 PM | Burington Visitor Center
It’s the most merry and bright time of year, Burlington! Join us for a magical evening filled with holiday cheer, sweet treats, and FREE festive fun for the whole family. Join Mayor Aslett as we light up Burlington’s community tree, sing along to cheerful carols, and soak in the magic of the season together. After the lighting, head to the Visitor Information Center for more live music, warm drinks, and photos with Santa by the fire.
Friday, December 5 | 6-8 PM | Anacortes Chamber of Commerce
Jingle all the way down to the Anacortes Chamber of Commerce for the Coastal Christmas Tree Lighting, live music, hot cocoa, and pictures with Santa!
Saturday, December 6 | 12 - 5 PM | Downtown Sedro-Woolley
Bring the whole family to enjoy a bustling vendor fair featuring local crafts and holiday treats, kids’ activities to delight the little ones, live music, and the magical lighting of the community tree. The evening wraps up with a sparkling Lighted Parade and a visit from Santa.

Gather in Gilkey Square for the 2025 La Conner Christmas Tree Lighting. Santa will light the tree!!

Santa’s coming to town! Kick-off the Holiday Season and create family memories at Mount Vernon’s Annual Holiday Parade. Enjoy glittering floats, music, and lights from local organizations, schools & businesses.

A Christmas parade, followed by the annual Tree Lighting at the east end of Main Street. Help welcome Santa to town!!

Tree Farms in Skagit County

Big Lake Trees is a family-friendly destination that offers a magical holiday experience. Stroll through the acres of fresh-cut Christmas trees, enjoy a festive atmosphere, and create lasting memories. They offer sustainably grown u-cut Christmas trees, wreaths, ornaments, hot apple cider, and candy canes.

Laue's Tree Farm is a holiday favorite for families, offering a warm and welcoming experience. Explore rows of fresh, fragrant Christmas trees to find the perfect one for your home.

Similk Bay Farm is a U-Cut Christmas Tree Farm on Fidalgo Island. Each tree is hand pruned to offer a natural Christmas tree for your home.

Be sure to grab your permit (starting at just $5) and review the guidelines befoer heading out. New Year's at Noon, Children's Museum, Burlington - 11:45am - Don’t miss the Children's Museum's annual New Year’s at Noon celebration complete with noisemakers! Join them outside the museum and count down to NOON with them… It’ll be a lot of fun! Make sure you're there by at least 11:45am to participate.
Noon Year's Party, La Conner Swinomish Library - 11am-Noon - Celebrate the end of 2024 with a Happy Noon Year’s Eve party at the library! Kids can ring in the New Year with a noisemaker craft and a countdown to noon.
Noon Year's Eve, Anacortes Public Library - 11:30am-12:30pm - Celebrate the new year ahead of time! We’ll have balloons, snacks, and a craft to celebrate the new year with our littlest visitors.
