Skagit Kids Read Week is an annual celebration of literacy marked by community readings, events and activities. The Skagit County Commissioners make a formal proclamation declaring the week as ‘Skagit Kids Read Week’, a featured author is selected and their works become the central theme of the week. Join us in promoting literacy and the joy of reading!!
Join us for a week of fun Events & Activities: Book Readings, Community Events, Virtual Events, YouTube, Activities, and Story Walks! Don't miss out Lucky Diaz himself will be performing at select locations on May 10th and 11th!:
Friday, May 10- La Conner Story Time: 11:00-11:30am- Central Skagit Library: 4:00-4:45pm- Children’s Museum & City of Burlington Library Event: 5:00-6:30pm @ CMSC Saturday, May 11- Anacortes Park/Library: 10:30am- DIA event at Hillcrest Lodge: 1:00-3:00pm (Lucky from 1:30-2:10pm)
