BALD EAGLE NATURE WALK
Weekends from December 14-Febraury 16 | 11 AM or 1:30 PM
Eastern Skagit County is BEAUTIFUL this time of year and the entire family can soak in the beauty of the beautiful Skagit Valley! Learn about eagles, watershed issues, and local natural and cultural history through presentations, guided walks, and the Nature Store. Free admission. Donations appreciated.
Our Nature Walks are around 1.5 to 2 hours where we talk about the connectivity between the river, the salmon, the trees, and the bald eagles.
Eagles abound in the Skagit Valley, but there are no guarantees that they will be visible during your visit. Please check out the "Eagle Viewing Locations" link below to add some additional stops to your day if you do not see them at Howard Miller State Park. You will still learn A LOT about eagles, their habitat and the beautiful Skagit Valley while you are there and it is very much worth the beautiful drive!
